HOBY's vision is "To motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within our global society through understanding and action, based on effective and compassionate leadership." HOBY's success is the direct result of its 4,000 national volunteers who plan and execute its programs.
HOBY’s flagship program, the State Leadership Seminar is designed to help high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Students explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in their community.
